2 hours TSI workshop by Phil Baines. 

 

It's basically looking close to typeface we given each and choose one letter which could show well the character of the typeface. And then make an A2 size poster with a part of the letter to represent the typeface using 2 A2 colour sheets.

It was so fun and so quick, and I am so slow. 

I tried to measure everything of the letter – angle, length, height, etc – to extend the letter to fit A2 size from small letter. And I had one mistake. But it came out totally wrong result. Because I didn't believe what I see but what I measure even though I feel it's something wrong. So I've got very wrongly thick serif in the letter 'K' on red and green poster. I will never rely on math.

 

Trip to Brighton

20110624_Trip to Brighton

For 1 year living in london. I finally went a trip to Brighton by train.

Bus apologized about no service. How kind!

I jumped to show my excitement about trip.

There were horses which is quite scary even though they were supposed to be fun!

And some games.

I ate some fresh seafood. (not sure it is really fresh but it was good experience since I don't really eat seafood.)

And couldn't miss Fish and Chips made of monster size fish.

These are all I've done in Brighton. I could not stay long because of the weather which was really cold and windy)
